The beautiful sandy beaches of Sweetings Cay are located 58 miles due east of Freeport / Lucaya, Grand Bahama Island. We are situated on the South side ocean of Sweetings’ Cay only a 15 minute boat ride from Mc Leans Town Dock on the mainland of Grand Bahama.

The quiet and tranquil atmosphere is the vacationers dream come true. Our beaches are long beautiful stretches of white sand and crystal clear waters which are very safe for swimmers and our surrounding reefs are unexcelled for the Bahamas’ favorite pastimes snorkeling and diving.

The surrounding seas are the fisherman's paradise. In these waters you'll find Marlin, Starfish, Tuna, Dolphin and King Mackerel. Our guides would be happy to take you on a tour at a reasonable rate.

For the ladies and sunbathers the sandbars provide privacy for sun bathing, tanning and shelling. Our lovely protected inlets are ideal for Water Skiing. Most of all our setting here is PERFECTION for just plain relaxing. Our Harbour is safe secure and most adequate for your boat.

We do recommend that you bring your own food supply, although meals can be purchased from the local village which is about half a mile away. Special orders can be placed in advance at reasonable prices.
